Price Includes:

Transportation and single-occupancy lodging during the 7-day workshop, highly personalized instruction from Tim, and Zoom image review after the workshop ends.

Price Does NOT Include:

Lodging the night before your arrival and departure, transportation to and from Oklahoma City, meals, beverages, and snacks.

You'll ride shotgun with award-winning storm photographer Tim Baca in his personal chase vehicle to get close to tornadoes and shoot wide.

For photographers who crave thrill and risk this is your front-row seat to the extreme. Whether you want to core-punch through giant hail or sit mesmerized by a tornado's roar, Tim will get you closer than you’ve ever dared. This is your chance to learn how to forecast, position, and photograph storms like a pro; capturing jaw-dropping supercells, tornadoes, and lightning with stunning compositions.

You’ll master the techniques to frame a close-range twister with an 11mm lens and walk away with once-in-a-lifetime photos and footage that others only dream of. But this isn’t for the faint of heart—quick reflexes, sharp instincts, and a drive for the ultimate shot are a must.

Travel is in Tim's personal chase vehicle (Toyota RAV 4). Luggage is restricted to one carry-on sized bag for clothes/toiletries and one camera bag to ensure all luggage and gear fits in the RAV.

We book lodging at mid-range hotels determined by Hotels.com ratings of an 8.0 or higher. Due to the unpredictable nature of chasing, we may end our night in rural towns with limited hotel options or may need to travel farther to find a hotel if there are no rooms available at our end-of-day location.

Book flights to arrive and depart from Will Rogers Airport (OKC) in Oklahoma City. We encourage arriving by 6:00 pm the night before your workshop (in case of an early wake-up call on your first day) and booking departing flights after 3:00 pm on your departure date (in case we arrive back to Oklahoma City at a late hour on your last day).
